Our Reviews

We stayed at Half Moon Resort for one month in July 2020 and were very impressed. The sites that we stayed at in the B-Loop were very private although others in the resort were less private. When we got to the site our spot was very wet and muddy but maintenance came the next day to bring us some gravel to make it less wet. Due to pandemic restrictions only camping by RVs for weekly, monthly or seasonal use was permitted. As a result the campground was not very crowded and felt quite private. We were impressed with amenities included full hook up sites, mini-golf, beach, basketball court , store (with ice cream and slushies) and Cafe (coffee & fresh baked cinnamon buns). Our only criticism was that the nature trails were not well maintained and therefore not really bike or hikeable. The park management and all staff were very friendly and attentive. We were very happy and enjoyed our stay and we will likely return!

My mother and father stayed there for a week and it was great experience. Big thank you to one of the employees Pablo who showed us around and made the place very welcoming. He even let us borrow a hose because my parents wasn't long enough, and also a bbq rack. Exceptional employee and I appreciate the hospitality Pablo! Overall great stay, thank you!

Our family spend 5 days at Half Moon Lake Resort this summer. There was so much for the kids (and adults) to do! Mini golf, beach volleyball, pickleball. I paddled with my stand up paddle board on the lake in the evenings. The views are beautiful. They lodge is new and lovely and they even have a cafe. So nice to have a coffee on the deck overlooking the lake in the morning. Free Wifi in the lodge is also a great bonus! The bathrooms were closed because of Covid, but we got to see inside them and they are Beautiful! New and clean - flush toilets and showers you don't have to pay for! Our family had a lovely time there!

A great RV campgrounds close to Edmonton. Plenty of sites from no hook-ups for tents through to full hook-ups for RVs. Lot's of mature trees giving shady areas on the warm days. A beach, min-golf, showers and washrooms. Site staff were friendly and helpful. One of the nicer RV parks we've stayed at. Will definitely return next time we are visiting the Edmonton area.

Under new management and it shows!! This is one of the best family focused campgrounds and just 20 minutes out of the city. The sites are spacious, the facilities were clean, no noise after 11pm and the staff were very friendly. Loads of amenities for the kids- volleyball, basketball, badminton as well as the beach. One of those places where you let your kids run free. Will be going back again!
