1. One campsite consists of two (2) adults and the children with them.
  2. No minors unless accompanied by an adult.
  3. All camping materials must be contained to your designated site.
  4. Registration and payment must be completed in full before occupying your designated site.
  5. Site location identifications are clearly labeled and must be occupied as designated. If you are unable to locate your site or are unsure that you are on the correct site, please return to the office and ask for help.
  6. Check-in time ends at 9:00 pm in order to avoid disturbing others. If you are traveling from afar and will be wanting to check in later, please phone ahead and we will permit you temporary overnight parking near the office.
  7. Check-out time is 11:00 am. If you wish to stay longer, you must make prior arrangements at the office. Additional costs apply. See day use rates.
  8. Gates will be locked and manned by security at 10:00 pm. Guests are expected to leave by this time if they haven’t already made prior arrangements with the office.
  9. We are a quiet family campground, loud music is not permitted at any time. Music must be on quiet or soft mode by 11:00 pm.
  10. No one is permitted to sell any goods or services within the resort without prior permission in writing from Management.
  11. Limit of one vehicle per site. Vehicles must be parked parallel to RV on site. No parking on grass or in empty RV sites. Extra vehicles are to be parked in the designated parking area. If you park in another RV site, you will be charged our daily rental for that site.
  12. No washing vehicles or watering lawns is permitted.


  1. Reservations must be paid in full at time of registration. We ask that you please come to the office prior to your scheduled check out to make arrangements if you wish to stay longer than your booked stay.
  2. All reservations and payments must be made using a credit card or cash deposit.
  3. Long weekends – minimum three (3) nights stay required – no refund for cancellation
  4. Failure to show up on reservation day will result in full charges for the length of time booked and no refunds
  5. Services: WiFi, water, power, sewer, garbage, recycling
  6. Power is limited as designated in each area. RVs who use more power (e.g. using double air conditioners or air conditioners and microwaves at the same time) and trip their breaker are subject to a reset fee.
  7. All campers and RVs using the resort’s water from public water spigots are asked to let the water run for five minutes before connecting to water hook-ups to eliminate stagnant water entering your RV unit.
  8. Sites must be cleaned before checking out. If the site is left without complete cleanup , a clean-up fee will be charged.
  9. All household garbage and recycling must be placed in the receptacles provided by the resort. Garbage other than household garbage is NOT to be disposed of in our receptacles and instead removed from the resort by the camper. Discarded or broken things left on your site at the resort will be charged a site clean-up fee.
  10. Any and all decks, gravel driveways, sheds, or fences must be approved by management prior to construction (leaseholders and seasonal campers only)
  11. Each sewage outlet has a screw cap, please replace the cap when leaving.
  12. All RVs must have sewer connections which seal tightly.
  13. Only non-toxic cleaning chemicals and eco-friendly toilet paper may be used in RV units connected to our septic system.


  1. Day use hours are 10 am to 10 pm.
  2. Day use fees are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for kids 6-16 for a full or partial day. Time is not pro-rated. Kids 5 and under are free.
  3. Visitors must register and pay Day Pass Admission at the gate or office and must leave the resort by 10:00 pm or by darkness, whichever comes first. Visitor tags must be returned to the office. Day pass guests who wish to stay overnight MUST exchange their day pass and register for overnight at the office before 10 pm. Hosts whose day use guests have not paid or overnight guests who have not registered are subject to immediate eviction.
  4. Under no circumstances will Seasonal RVs guests, event guests, or any others allow a minor to be served, to assist in serving, or to consume alcohol in or on any part of the resort.
  5. No dogs are allowed in the day pass area or adjacent playground, recreation area, or common areas opposite of the beach.
  6. Firewood: Due to concerns about the transfer of disease and insects, we insist that NO OUTSIDE WOOD can be brought into the resort. Outside wood will be confiscated and not returned. Firewood must be purchased from the store and wood found on the resort may NOT be used for campfires.
  7. Pets: All pets must be supervised at all times and are not permitted on the beach or in the playground, day use, beach recreation, or swimming areas.
  8. Campers must pick up after their pets immediately. Failure to do so will incur a $20 fee.
  9. Do not tie dogs to clothing lines or fences in the resort.
  10. Daily rate for pets is $5.00 per pet per day, $30 per week, or $100 per month. Dogs are free for seasonal campers and leaseholders. Management reserves the right to require the owner to remove unruly, loud, aggressive, or misbehaving animals from the resort immediately.
  11. Park, Beach, Common Areas, Recreational Facilities & Activities: Half Moon Lake Resort is not responsible for injury while in the park. Use of facilities is at your own risk.
  12. Keep our kids safe! The 10km/hour speed limit throughout the resort is strictly enforced.
  13. Absolutely no fireworks or firecrackers are allowed in the resort. If used, you will be asked to leave the resort immediately with no refund.
  14. No diving off our pier, boats, paddle boats, or recreational equipment (the water here is much too shallow for diving!).
  15. No cutting any plants or trees in the resort.

  17. Swim at your own risk.
  18. No ski boats or jet skis are allowed at the tesort. No boats allowed over 10hp.
  19. The use of firearms and all other weapons is strictly prohibited (including pellet or BB guns).
  20. Fires are allowed only in designated fire pits and only if permitted by provincial fire guidelines or regulations during dry seasons.
  21. No smoking within three (3) metres of any resort building.
  22. No ATV off-road use within the resort.
  23. Vandalism, Loud Noise, Disruptions & Damage: Anyone creating excessive noise and or causing vandalism is subject to immediate eviction. Any intentional damage may incur legal or financial charges and repair costs. Registered campers are, at all times, responsible for their own conduct, their children’s and their guest’s conduct while on resort property. All occupants are entitled to quiet enjoyment of the facilities. Resort security will enforce the rules and have the right to evict anyone breaking the rules at any time.


  1. Seasonal sites must be kept clean and presentable throughout the season and must be cleaned corner to corner at the end of the season or a charge of $200 for maintenance/cleaning will apply. Leaseholders are responsible for the maintenance of their own sites.
  2. Overdue payment of any tenancy will automatically be charged to your credit card.
  3. Failure to pay your rent when due will result in your RV being locked until payment is received.
  4. Seasonal site holders are asked to contact the office in the spring, or any time that your contact information changes, so that we have an update of your current information.
